We received a wonderful surprise email today from our adoption rep in Vietnam. She sent us a picture of Isaac when he was only twenty-one days old! How amazing is that! Loan, if you are reading this, thank you so much for these pics. We love and miss you.

Like father, like son.

I am sure you all remember the 'shoulder ride' picture of Mike and Isaac taken in Horseshoe Valley (I only say that because so many people commented on it). Well here is another, only this time its Mini Mike and Isaac havin' all the fun. My babies.

We headed out to Inverhuron Park (yes, again...its our favourite place to walk) this morning and decided to go exploring for deer antlers. Cameron found a small five point antler and amazingly Avery found and larger four point about ten minutes later. The both of them were screaming with excitement. It was so much fun to watch. They were so proud of themselves for their discoveries. For those of you who have ever visited our place you may recall that Avery has a collection of antlers in her room so this was a pretty big find today.

Earth Hour Fun!

For Earth Hour last night we pitched the tent in the basement and got our sleeping bags out. During our hour of lights out we all hung out in the tent, played and made funny faces in the flash lights. It was so much fun. Earth hour actually extended well past the hour and the kids have asked if we can do it again tonight.

My Vietnamese Man

I had this traditional Vietnamese outfit made for Isaac while in Vietnam. I decided today to put it on him just for fun and he was absolutely gorgeous in it so I just had to share the picture with everyone.....and yes his mouth is 'always' open.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!!!

I have always loved Easter morning and this one being Isaac's first was eggstra special. The kids had a great time hunting for eggs and Isaac was completely entertained with the tissue paper.

Isaac with his brand new, very own hammer. He absolutely loves to bang things so that ever so smart Easter Bunny thought he might like this fine tool....and he was right!

On a sadder note, my Grandma fell on Good Friday and fractured her hip. The Doctor is planning on doing surgery in the next day or two, he will be putting pins in her hip to help the healing process go a little faster. Although my Grandma is without a doubt the strongest woman I have ever known please keep her in your thoughts and prayers over the next few days for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. Thanx.

Enjoying The Lasts Days (hopefully) of Winter.

The snow is melting! Not fast enough but it is melting.

We enjoyed a nice long walk at our favourite park yesterday. It was a beautiful day and everyone was exhausted from walking threw the slushy snow...especially my old man Rielly.

Monster Trucks Rock!

Mike, Cam and Avery went to see the Monster Trucks last Saturday night and haven't stopped talking about it since. Despite the crappy weather and long drive to London they had an amazing time.
