Weekend at the cottage.

Lovin' the cottage.
Lovin' it.

Spent the weekend up north and fully enjoyed the freezing cold and wet weather.
It was a great weekend which made it very hard to pile into the van Sunday night to make the drive home. It took me over an hour to make this creation but I have to admit, it looks pretty darn good.
Can't go to the cottage without paying a visit to our little feathered friends.
And people say he looks like his dad.......WHATEVER. He gets all those good looks from ME!

So Monday comes and the sun is shining, and the sky is bright blue...a breath taking beautiful day.
BUT
Mike is sleeping cause he just got off nights,
Isaac is napping,
and Cam and Ave are at school.
So what does Mom do??????
She wakes the hubby up and Isaac,
she pulls the kids out of school early,
and we go on a family date to Smiths' Apple Orchard!!!!!
THAT'S what she does.

The king of MY castle!
The Three moustacheketeers.
Me and my Beau.

After an hour and a half corn maze walk this was All I saw.
"Mommy up."

Afternoon at the park.

What were we up to today? Absolutely nothing....and it was wonderful. Then we decided to head to the park for a little fun. We couldn't be lazy all day and do nothing.

The boys hanging around.

Grandpa Frog came to visit!

My Dad and Denise came for a visit this week. The kids were very excited to see them. Here are a few pics of our visit.

Cameron and Tilley. My Beau doing what he loves to do best.
Isaac couldn't say Grandpa Frog so instead he called my dad Pappa Froggy. Too cute.
Dad and the kids.

Thanks for the visit Dad and Denise. We will see you again soon!

Hangin' out at the cottage this past weekend. Were lovin' cottage life.

Isaac loves his big sis. More then he loves anyone else I think. TILLEY!!!

Stopped for a quick fishing trip on the way home. Kids loved it...me not so much. Mom hates fishing. Totally a Dad thing.

Isaac trying it out for the first time.
Cam and his big catch.

As saucy and stubborn as he can be, how can you not absolutely love that face.

It's been a long, long time.

So it's been a while. My bad. Truth be known, life has been busy (always my excuse) and it had been so long since I have posted anything I had completely forgotten my password to get on the blog. But today with a little bit of determination (and no kids cause they are gone for the weekend) I have recovered the long lost password and .....here I am.

Well where to start?????

We went to Disney in June! Had a fantastic time. Can't wait to go again.....and again. A full week of roller coasters and ice cream. Life does not get much better then that. Mike, Isaac and I spent a little time canoeing the lake. Lovin' it. Lovin' the beach. Lovin' the summer.
Cameron played 'Sunshine of your Love' for his school talent show. He made his mom cry.
Check him out!

That's about all I have for now. I promise I will try to be a better blogger. Try.

Cameron's hockey team played their best game yet on Monday night. The final score was 4-1 for the other team but our players played hard throughout the entire game. Cam seems to be understanding the concept of the game more and more and his skills are improving constantly. Best of all...he is lovin' every minute of it! Cam is the player to the far right of the picture. Here is a little video clip of Avery taking her Brownie vows. Please ignore the first few seconds (the chair scene), I was having a no-brainer moment. Its a little hard to hear what she is saying so I've written out her vow below.

"I, Avery, will do my best to be true to myself, my God and Canada. I will help other people and keep the Brownie Law."
