This is DRACULA.
Dracula is Avery's feisty little six week old hamster. She's definitely a cute little girl...with razor sharp teeth and apparently loves the taste of blood (that's why Mike has gloves on).On the way home from the pet store yesterday Dracula escaped from her 'critter carrying box' and in an attempt to capture her Avery received several bites to her hands. The back seat of the truck was covered with blood. That is how Dracula came by her name. We were eventually able to secure her back in her box for the rest of the drive home.
Dracula seems to be settling in nicely in her new home, although we are giving her a couple of days before we attempt to pick her up again.
